The West Alabama Leadership Prayer Breakfast exists to honor our Lord Jesus Christ. By dedicating one morning annually to the encouragement of leaders in all walks of life through prayer, music, reading of scripture and personal testimony, our goal is to encourage leaders to make prayer a priority in their lives.

The West Alabama Leadership Prayer Breakfast was established in 1999 as a pre-event to the Franklin Graham Festival. The Prayer Breakfast has continued; still seeking to stimulate, enhance and nurture Christian leadership in the public and private sectors of Tuscaloosa and West Alabama. The event has grown to have a consistent attendance of 800 area leaders. In previous years the event has hosted a distinguished list of keynote speakers such as Franklin Graham, Governor David Beasley, Cal Thomas, Todd Starnes, Brit Hume and Steve Green. The Prayer Breakfast committee is comprised of local marketplace, government, and spiritual influencers that desire to raise the awareness of the importance of prayer among leaders across all sectors of industry and ministry in West Alabama.
