Fund Accounting - CGAT Course

Description

The CGAT program, sponsored by the Government Finance Officers Association of Alabama, is a series of courses intended to improve the professional and fiscal skills of attendees. This training is not exclusive to GFOAA members.

The Fund Accounting course objective is to familiarize the participant with the process of recording financial information that groups resources into funds based on their source and any limitations on use. This course counts as a 6-hour core course toward the Certified Governmental Accounting Technician Certificate awarded by the GFOAA. The Fund Accounting course is a requirement for the GCAT certificate.
