About Bruce H. Henderson:
Bruce H. Henderson is a partner in the Tuscaloosa law firm of Phelps, Jenkins, Gibson & Fowler. Born in Memphis, TN, he graduated from Rhodes College and the University of Memphis School of Law. He is admitted to the bars in both Tennessee and Alabama. Bruce has tried employment cases representing employers in state and federal courts from California to Wyoming, Ohio, Georgia, Chicago, West Virginia, Michigan, and Alabama. He is a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has received the highest rating from the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell legal directory (AV) for attorneys practicing in his area. He was also recently named as one of America's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators in Alabama. His practice areas include all aspects of labor and employment law, including a regular practice before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. and Alabama Department of Labor, OSHA, and the National Labor Relations Board. He has represented companies in numerous union campaigns and unfair labor practice charges, wage and hour audits, EEOC charges, mediations and arbitrations as well as implementing preventative measures for businesses like employee handbooks, harassment training, and positive supervision techniques.
