We are searching for an experienced Total Rewards and Recognition Director at our Headquarters facility in Tuscaloosa, AL.

 

The Total Rewards and Recognition Director is the expert in how compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition programs drive accountability and high performance through the organization.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

-Oversee all aspects of compensation, benefits, and incentive plans.
-Create a roadmap that aligns the rewards and recognition programs with the business strategy to reinforce a performance culture with differentiated rewards.
-Provide leadership in establishing organizational appreciation for the transformation to the rewards structure, being seen as the ambassador for ensuring congruence in the rewards programs with Westervelt's mission, vision and values.
-Advance a purposeful, high-performance culture through differentiated, comprehensive and innovative reward and recognition programs that reward innovation, safety and excellence.
-Serve as the internal consultant for determining best practices through evaluating industry trends and market competitiveness for total rewards for Westervelt's portfolio of diverse businesses.
-Collaborate with EVP, Human Resources in all aspects of executive compensation and benefits.
-Provide insight, technical analysis, and policy support to the EVP of Human Resources in effectively providing relevant and timely information to the Compensation and Personnel Committee of the Board of Directors.
-Communicate and educate employees about the value of their total rewards and guide them in making informed decisions.
-Develop and manage the Total Rewards and Recognition budget.
-Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to compensation, benefits, and incentive plans.
-Accountable for service delivery requirements of various insurance carriers and third-party plan administrators for employee benefits.

Required Qualifications:

 
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are a must for this job
  • Knowledgeable in both human resources and finance to excel in this role
  • Extensive knowledge in federal and state payroll and benefits laws
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits management, and recognition programs preferred
  • ADP experience is a plus
  • Manufacturing operations experience is a plus
  • Experience working with a diverse portfolio of business units is preferred

The base salary range for this position is $106,300 - $170,100. The actual base salary is based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
